In the cold season, a jar of lemon juice dipped with honey can soothe sore throat, coughs and keep larynx warm. You can self-make jar of lemon juice dipped with honey with a very easy-to-do recipe.
Ingredient:
600 grams of lemon
600 grams of Honimore honey The preserving rate is usually 600 grams to 600 grams of honey. Depending on the size of the jar, you can change the amount of lemon juice and honey.
Instruction:
Step 1: wash the lemons and wait till it dries
Step 2: Put the washed lemons into a saucepan and pour hot water onto the lemons, so lemon rind will be less bitter. Soak them for a while and drain out. This step ensures sterilization. After that, slices the lemons. Remember to dismiss lemon seeds.
Step 3: Wash and dry the jar to ensure hygiene and longer preservation.
Step 4: Pour a layer of honey into the jar. Arrange a layer of sliced lemons onto the layer of honey. After that, just keep arranging layer after layer until the jar is full. You can add a few mint leaves, cloves or cinnamon to the jar.
Cover the jar tightly, store it a cool place or in a fridge. After a couple of days, it’s ready to use.
The mixture of lemon and honey can be drunk right away or you can dilute with hot water. Honey-lemon mixture can soothe the throat and relieve nasal congestion. In addition, if you drink regularly, lemon-honey juice can give a heathy life and smooth skin as desired.
